teamviewer daemon is not running in linux

You may encounter error while open the teamviewer on linux system.

ERROR:"TeamViewer Daemon is not running
please start teamviewerd and then restart TeamViewer."
 

Solution:
teamviewer --daemon start

  2. Then there is something wrong. I did 'teamviewer --daemon start' and it works.

  3. The command 'teamviewer --daemon start' works only if you're root.

    If you did after sudo -s (password) yeah it work. But when you do without root or like on startup doesn't work.

    I have the same problem, it worked on first install of teamviewer, but later have the same prob like op which i fix only if i do command via root. I'm too looking for a better solution.

    1. I too had the same issue, but after applying the following it solved the problem.

      cd /opt/teamviewer8/tv_bin/script
      sudo cp teamviewerd.sysv /etc/init.d/
      sudo chmod 755 /etc/init.d/teamviewerd.sysv
      sudo update-rc.d teamviewerd.sysv defaults

      Delete
